Seed Treatments – EcoTea
EcoTea™ offers much more than just a seed treatment; EcoTea builds a better ecosystem when it hits the soil because the wide array of biology in the product. It will adapt to your soil, crops and conditions with amazing results. The biology on the seed gives your seeds both a faster start and covers the roots as they begin to grow. EcoTea supports stress resistance during untimely early season weather while helping the plant access early season nutrients. Also improves emergence, cold vigor and early crop development on seedlings. Basically, acts as a probiotic for the plant boosting healthy populations of plant beneficial organisms to increase germination.
Why do I want EcoTea on my farm?

Stimulate Root Growth
The inoculum is infused with an organic blend of humic, fulvic and long-chain amino acids, Atlantic kelp extract, simple and complex carbohydrates and enzymes. The real benefit is the biology within EcoTea. The biological community will improve soil structure, both root function and biomass and the release of plant availabile N-P-K + micronutrients in the root zones.
EcoTea is specially brewed to create a balanced ecosystem within the soil and plant root system. It’s unique combination of ingredients provide a vast array of benefits. Chemically, the humic acid chelates macronutrients and the fulvic acid chelates micronutrients effectively tying them up in the soil in plant available biologically active forms. Atlantic kelp provides a food source for important fungi, while improving the functions of most plant hormones.

Improve Soil Aggregate Stability
What can Healthy Soil Biology do?
EcoTea has been ecologically engineered to include several functional groups of micro-organisms. Designed for specific functions to maximize crop productivity while improving long term soil health. As a result these diverse communities of microbes form symbiotic relationships with plants, this allows plants to benefit from the specific functions of the microbes present. EcoTea contains both bacteria and Fungi as well as protozoa, nematodes and micro-invertebrates.
Some specific microbial species within the community grow their populations by providing nutrients to the plants in exchange for exudates from plant roots. As a result the more carbon the crop is pumping into the soil through photosynthesis, the higher the population of these microbes will be. Additionally, DNA testing and taxonomy shows EcoTea provides a wide range of species within this functional group filling varies niches.

Making Biology Work For You
In fact adding the broad-spectrum biology in EcoTea can allow for a measurable reduction in crop inputs. With this in mind EcoTea pairs seamlessly with your Fertility program, allowing the biology to perform the function of solubilizing the nutrients in the soil and delivering them in their plant available form.
Replaces fungicide treatments that destroy beneficial and pathogenetic organisms indiscriminately. 98% of all Fungal Species are beneficial or neutral to plants and 2% are considered pathogens. Are you managing for the 98%…? Various microbial species within the EcoTea product are in fact “predators”. This means this army of microbes can control the populations of pathogenic organisms detrimental to crop grow and yield. Often we see the Ecotea seed dressing product come in at a lower cost than a chemical fungicide seed treatment.
Grower’s standard yields have been maintained while reducing inputs across various crops including wheat, corn, oats, peas, and canola. This research work is ongoing in regions across the prairies, whether in Manitoba or the Peace Country in Northern Alberta.
EcoTea gives your crops the support they need no matter the conditions. This insures we grow the soil while we grow crops, to improve the yields of the future.
